KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Our Mission

The Knights of Columbus empowers Catholic men to live their faith and serve their family, parish, community and country.

Our Vision

Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the premier lay Catholic men’s organization. Guided by the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we build lifelong relationships with our members and families. We are multigenerational and international. We offer formation, mutual aid and financial security to members through our charity, products and outreach. We aspire to invite every Catholic man to join the Knights of Columbus and to extend our charitable reach as widely as possible.

MEETINGS:

Every 2nd Sunday of the month after the 9:00 am Mass.

REBECCA’S PANTRY

The Mission Statement of Rebecca's Pantry

The Food Pantry at West Side Baptist Church, Rebecca's Pantry, is a part of our Ministry that seeks to create a hunger free community by sharing our abundant blessings with people who are in need.  Therefore, we provide qualified, referred families and individuals with an appropriate supply of food that is necessary to supplement their normal amount along with spiritual support, through prayer and presentation of the Gospel of Christ.

Matthew 25:35a, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat..."

The Pantry is open each Thursday from 9 to 11:30 a.m., except for the 5th Thursday of a month and holidays, such as Thanksgiving.

We give non-perishable food items, encouragement and prayers.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Adult Bible Study

All parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena are welcome! No registration fee.

Adult Bible Study classes are held on Sundays following the 9:00 a.m. Mass and typically last about one hour. The sessions are led by Monica and George Frost and provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Scripture through study and discussion.

MASS INTENTIONS

Mass Intentions

A Mass Intention is a special prayer offered during the celebration of the Mass for a particular person or purpose, such as thanksgiving, a special occasion, healing, or in memory of a loved one. Parishioners may request a Mass Intention by completing a Mass Intention envelope available at the church entrances or in the parish office. A suggested offering of $5.00/Mass is requested.

Guidelines for Requesting Mass Intentions

To ensure accuracy, all Mass Intention requests must be submitted using the official Mass Intention envelope. Requests made by phone, email, or other electronic means cannot be accepted. Please print all information clearly and include a contact phone number.

Completed envelopes may be given to Mabel, submitted to the parish office during regular business hours, or placed in the collection basket at Mass.

Mass Intentions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis according to calendar availability. Only one Mass Intention may be assigned to each Mass, and each intention requires a separate envelope. Up to two related individuals (such as spouses, parent and child, or siblings) may be included on one envelope.

If specific dates or days are requested, please indicate them clearly on the envelope. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, availability cannot be guaranteed.
